Hi Dad, it's the Eve of your birthday so I'm hoping your having a pre-birthday drink you know only to be social as you used to say and having a lovely steak Diane meal like you used to enjoy with my mum as I hope you get to enjoy everything you love to do without any worries. Well dad tommorrow is bittersweet as it's your 2nd birthday I don't get to spend it with you but I know you wouldn't want me to not celebrate you and mum's birthday so I have brought 2 cakes for you both to share half each so you get a chocolate and a vanilla birthday cake each I hope that's ok. I'm sorry I haven't been out to get any balloons to send up to you but I haven't been too great recently so hopefully you'll understand and please know I will always think of you.
